SIMS.net
Issue: Incompatible Database
The incompatible database error is caused by the client having an older version of SIMS.net installed than is currently on the server. Simply update the clients using SOLUS3 or manually by running SIMSApplicationSetup from S:\SIMS\Setups
SIMS.net Options Module
Issue: Password File Not Found.. Aborting
Create a new SIMS.ini file with the following information
[Setup]
SIMSDirectory=S:\SIMS
SIMSSetupsDirectory=S:\SIMS\setups
SIMSDotNetDirectory=C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS.net
Copy the SIMS.ini file to C:\Windows
Issue: Warning: Cannot read from N Implementations
If you receive the above error message when using SIMS.net Options Module, Where N may be any number. You simple need to install the Borland Database Engine on the effected PC.
Navigate to S:\SIMS\Setups and run SIMSInfrastructuresetup. Re-launch options and the options files should now appear.
Note: the Options Manager must have modify permissions to the S:\SIMS\Options folder
